PROGRAM
Day 1:
- Start your day with a visit to the Howrah Bridge. Enjoy the majestic sight of the Ganges flowing beneath it.
- Proceed to Fort William and admire its magnificent architecture.
- Visit Belur Math, the headquarters of Ramakrishna Math and Mission, and witness the evening aarti at Sri Ramakrishna Temple.
- End your day at Kalighat Kali Temple, one of the most revered Hindu pilgrimage sites.
Day 2:
- Begin your day at the Radha-Krishna or Shyama-Raya temple, a 16th-century architectural marvel.
- Visit the Mother House, the headquarters of the Missionaries of Charity, and pay respects at Mother Teresa’s tomb.
- Head to Kumartuli, a unique potters’ colony, and witness artisans sculpting deities out of clay.
- Spend the afternoon at Eco Tourism Park, enjoying various recreational activities.
- End your day at Jorasanko Thakur Bari, the ancestral home of Rabindranath Tagore, and admire the exhibited paintings.
