Gangtok is approximately 126 kilometers away from Bagdogra airport, and the drive usually takes around 5 to 6 hours.

The drive to Gangtok offers scenic views of lush green vegetation alongside the Teesta River, which flows with vibrant currents.

In Gangtok, you can visit places like the Handloom and Handicraft Center, Ganesh Tok, Flower Show, Chorten Monastery, Institute of Tibetology, and Tashi View Point. Each offers unique cultural and scenic experiences.

Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir, and Nathula Pass are situated in the same circuit at high altitudes. Tsomgo Lake is an alpine lake, Baba Mandir is a memorial dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, and Nathula Pass used to be part of the ancient Silk Route to Lhasa.
