The tour typically lasts for 7 days, covering Leh, Alchi, Nubra Valley, and Pangong Lake. The journey begins with sightseeing in Leh, followed by a visit to Alchi. The next stop is Nubra Valley, where you can enjoy a camel ride on the white sand dunes. The tour concludes with camping near Pangong Lake.

There are two direct routes from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake. The first route is Diskit – Khalsar – Agham – Shyok – Durbuk – Tangtse – Spangmik (Pangong Lake), which is about 162 kilometers. The second route is Diskit – Khalsar – Agham – Wari La Pass – Shakti – Chang La – Durbuk – Tangtse – Spangmik (Pangong Lake), which is about 222 kilometers.

The tour includes sightseeing in Leh, exploring popular Leh monasteries like Hemis, Thiksey, and Hunder, driving past Khardung La, and shopping for wooden handicrafts in Leh markets. You can also enjoy a camel ride in the Nubra Valley and camping near Pangong Lake.

On the first day, you will arrive in Leh and transfer to the hotel. You should take complete rest for the day for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs)

The best time to visit Leh, Nubra Valley, and Pangong is during the summer months from April to June when the weather is pleasant and the roads are clear.

Given the high altitude and cold weather, it’s recommended to pack warm clothing, sunblock, sunglasses, a hat, comfortable shoes for trekking, and any personal medication you might need.
