Experience the serene beauty of Assam and Meghalaya in a 4-night, 5-day tour with Tour My India. The journey begins with a pilgrimage in Guwahati, Assam, followed by a visit to Shillong. The itinerary includes a stop at the stunning Umiam Lake, a trip to the second wettest place on Earth, Cherrapunji, and a visit to Mawlynnong. The final stop is Dawki, home to the beautiful Umngot River. The package includes accommodation, food, and transportation services.
Day 1: Arrive in Guwahati, Assam. Transfer to a hotel for rest and visit Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple, and Balaji Temple. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Travel from Guwahati to Shillong, Meghalaya (99 km, 3-4 hours). Visit Umiam Lake en route. Check-in at a hotel in Shillong. Free time for the rest of the day.
Day 3: After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji. Visit Seven Sister Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and Thangkharang Park. Return to Shillong, visiting Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak on the way.
Day 4: Visit Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village, and Dawki in West Jaintia Hills. Return to Shillong, visiting the Root Bridge on the way.
Day 5: Departure post breakfast. End of tour with unforgettable memories.

The drive from Guwahati to Shillong takes around 3-4 hours.
Umiam, also known as Barapani, is the largest artificial lake in Meghalaya known for its picturesque surroundings.
In Cherrapunji, you will visit the Seven Sister Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and Thangkharang Park.
In Shillong, you will visit the Elephant Falls and the Shillong Peak.
Mawlynnong is known as the cleanest village in Asia and Dawki is known for its sublime beauty and the clean Umngot River.
The tour ends with a drive back to your onward destination from Shillong.
