Experience a 7-day comprehensive tour of Meghalaya, a state known for its natural beauty and diverse wildlife. Once part of Assam, Meghalaya became independent in 1972. It’s home to endangered species like leopards, tigers, and single-horned rhinos. The state offers breathtaking views, beautiful sunsets, and numerous tourist spots including lakes, temples, waterfalls, parks, and caves. While the food varies, Guwahati and Shillong offer a wider choice. Join us for an unforgettable journey.
PROGRAM
Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati
- Our representative will meet you at the airport or station and transfer you to your hotel in Guwahati.
- Take some rest or explore the city as you prefer.
Day 2: Kaziranga National Park
- After breakfast, travel to Kaziranga National Park, home to the one-horned rhinoceros.
- Enjoy wildlife sightings and take photos with the rhinos.
- Return to your hotel in Kaziranga.
Day 3: Karizanga to Shillong
- Explore a zone of Kaziranga National Park on an elephant safari.
- Spot other animals like deer, buffalo, and tigers.
- Drive to Shillong, known as the “Scotland of the East.”
- Visit Umiam Lake en route.
- Check in to your Shillong hotel.
Day 4: Cherrapunjee
- Head to Cherrapunjee, the world’s wettest place.
- Marvel at Nohkalikai Falls and explore Mawsmai Cave.
- Return to Shillong, visiting Elephanta Falls and Shillong Peak.
- Overnight in Shillong.
Day 5: Shillong Sightseeing
- Visit the Don Bosco Museum and Ward’s Lake.
- Check out from your hotel and drive to Guwahati.
- Enjoy the sound and light show at Kalakshetra.
- Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 6: Guwahati Exploration
- Explore Assam State Museum, State Zoo, and Regional Science Center.
- Optional sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River.
- Rest overnight in Guwahati.
Day 7: Departure
- Visit Kamakhya Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple, and Nabagraha Temple.
- Check out from your hotel and proceed to the airport or station.
- Take home wonderful memories of your Meghalaya adventure!
